Safety Plan

South Side will be open every Sunday @ 10:15am for weekly worship! Click here for more info.

South Side COVID19 Safety Plan

We were given the GREEN light to reopen South Side June 7th. For now, we will offer just one service at 10:15. To say we are excited is a colossal understatement. We also want to be as prayerful and careful as possible so we can do it the right way, and the safe way, for all of our people and our guests. What does this mean for our South Side family? We’ve created this page to help you have detailed information about our efforts to provide a safe on site worship experience for you and your family.

·       We ask everyone to maintain six feet of social distancing as you move into the building and venue where you will worship.

·       We encourage everyone to bring your own hand sanitizer. Even though we will have hand sanitizer on site, we encourage you to bring some as well. (If you would like to donate some to help us have more than enough, that would be great, too!)

·       We encourage everyone to wash or sanitize hands upon entering and after any interaction with others.

·       Consistent with the actions taken by many individuals across the state, consider wearing cloth face coverings.

Parking Lot

·       Parking lot hosts will welcome and guide people to a parking lot.

·       Once there, we will allow everyone to park wherever they want.

·       Will wear gloves.

·       Only one person per set of doors. No handshakes, fist bumps or hugs.

·       No one will have to open a door.

·       We will clearly identify and specify “entrance” and “exit” doors.

·       We will keep areas as clear and open as possible.

·       We encourage people to use the worship center, event center, and hallways. (We have lots of extra room throughout the facility)

·       We will start with one 10:15 service live in the worship center and Livestream in the event center and upper room.

·       We will have stations for sanitizing upon your arrival into the facility.

·       Our seating has been re-arranged for social distancing purposes.

·       There will be no programs handed out at this time.

·       We will have a host once you arrive to help you get seated.

·       We will encourage people to come forward keeping social distancing when doing so.

·       Baptisms will be done individually.

·       There will be no group baptisms unless members of the same family.

·       We will also be available to do private baptism times later if people are more comfortable with that.

·       Nursery will be provided.

·       We are encouraging families to worship and sit together.

·       Pre-School class will be provided.

·       We are encouraging families to worship and sit together.

·       There will be no children’s, youth, college, men’s, women’s or any other ministry, including Sunday Study classes for at least the first few weeks.

·       Journey groups will resume using social distancing guidelines.

·       We want to allow people plenty of time to get comfortable with our facility and the new normal.

·       In addition to our paid cleaning staff, we are adding more people to clean before, between and after all services.

·       We will wipe down all tables, chairs, door knobs/handles/crash bars, all equipment, etc.

·       We will encourage and gladly accept donations of hand sanitizer, wipes, Lysol, etc. You can drop them off in the buckets available in each lobby.

Water Fountains

·       All water fountains will be shut off, and bottled water will be provided at café connect.

·       We will have hand sanitizer there as well.

Hand Sanitizer

·       We will have hand sanitizer everywhere, especially in all lobbies and restrooms.

Health Concerns

·        If you have any concerns or health issues, we strongly recommend you remain at home and watch our online services which will continue at all the normal times.

·        Again, we will not open with all ministries, activities or even all services. For example, we will only have a 10:15 service for now.
